While paging through an old Ideas magazine I found this beautiful gift idea and decided I would try it out. Although mine looks nothing like the picture it is relatively easy to make (especially with all the ready made printables) and is a really nice personalised gift. I made a few of these for kitchen tea gifts, as parts of wedding gifts and as thank you gifts for my bridesmaids. |

Wrap the box with gift wrap. Measure the inside base of the box and cut out a rectangular piece of the second gift wrap. Glue this inside the box. Fill the empty containers with the sweets, 100's & 1000's, sherbet and strawberry syrup. Use sticky dots to stick the labels onto the different containers. Arrange the contents in the box. Use sticky dots to keep the items in place inside the box (trust me I know how frustrating it is with the glass but it does work). Pop the straws and spoons on top and then add your "Just add ice cream" printable. Wrap the box with clear cellophane. Sellotape the gift tag to the top and admire your personalised gift! |
